The last two weeks have seen some seasonal changes. Walleyes I filleted had both crayfish and leeches in addition to minnows in them. I shifted from jig and minnow to rigging with leeches and crawlers to match their food preference. The rock reefs have produced well. Last week saw a mixed bag. Early in the week we had some good weather and good fishing. Then we had a Mayfly hatch that made fishing tougher as the Walleyes fed on the flies. We were still able to get a limit of fish but it took longer and we had to move around more.
